Augustian Farms has been selling beef direct to consumers for over 25 years. In recent years we have expanded our business to include sales to restaurants, a local grocery store, and online. 

 

We raise approximately 120 animals a year that are direct descendants of the dairy operation. The beef calves through processing remain on the dairy farm through all growth stages.

 

The beef animals are a cross of pure angus bulls to create a high quality marbled product. 

 

These animals eat a very similar diet to the dairy cows on the farm. This diet includes chopped corn plants and kernels, hay, alfalfa, soybean meal, vitamins, and freshwater. We never use hormones, chemical additives, or antibiotics unless medically necessary for animal husbandry. This ensures that its a high quality beef product just like our milk that is sold off from the farm. 

 

Augustian farms utilize local processing facilities. Individual cuts are always available through the freezer sales. For larger quantities scheduling is available for quarter, half and whole animals.
